10 Ways to Make Your Notes Look Prettier!

Whenever I am studying for and exam or test, I always love making my notes/study cards so clean, and pretty. Since I am a visual learning, I feel that making my notes look pretty and more organized helps me learn the material better. If you are a visual learning like me you will defiantly find these quick and easy tips very helpful! Even if you are not a visual learning, these notes are still so fun to make and not to mention - they are super cute!

1. Use various shapes in different sizes to amplify specific words or phrases.

2. Use thought bubbles to expand your learning. Thought bubbles will draw your eye to the more important information.

3. Highlight key phrases or words to better understand the information.

4. Use various arrows, indent key information with different styles of arrows.

5. For small subtitles, draw little banners around the title, this is so your brain knows that the following notes are about that certain topic, and there will be no confusion.

6. Use COLOUR!! This is probably one of the most helpful tips that I know of. Use a least three different colours, and colour code your notes. One for the subtitles, one for definitions, one for key phrases and words, e.t.c.

7. Connect ideas using dots and lines, your eye will following along the lines, and lead you to the important information.

8. Make the titles of the notes for bold and pretty, so when you are flipping through your binder looking for a note, the titles are nice and big and easy to read. And are also super cute!

9. Write in DIFFERENT WAYS to spice up mundane notes!

10. Add doodles and embellishments around the note page to keep it exciting and fun.
